Brad & Ashley | Hoopeston, Illinois Wedding
In the spotlight
Mr & Mrs. Garner – 8.1.15
Brad & Ashley had the sweetest backyard wedding. It was just how Ashley wanted it to be, small & simple but still beautiful, just the 2 of them standing up surrounded by their closest friends & family looking on as they said their ‘I do’s’.
They shared in a very sweet first look also in their backyard, practiced their vows and we headed out to a place I’d been stalking for the last year, a gorgeous sunflower field. It was really funny because just a few short days before her wedding I was going on about us going out there and Ashley mentioned to me that one of her close friends had recently visited the same place & told her it would be a great location too. What are the odds? It seemed meant to be.
Before the ceremony there was a surprise for the groom, a friend of the theirs named Samantha who was also very helpful to the bride & groom came running up to me and told me that the groom’s friend from out-of-state was there. I kinda love it when people alert me before moments like this happen. Also Jake (the groom’s friend) flying in to be there. A million plus friend points for that!
Ashley has had a rough year, she lost her Daddy in May. I know it was hard for her to have the wedding without him there, but her & Brad knew they had his blessing. It’s not been easy I’m sure but she’s shown through & he was still a big part, watching over the entire wedding & I’m sure he was/is so proud. <3 <3
So many heartfelt moments, I could really go on & on but I’ll just mention one more & that is Brad’s request to take the first image below in support of his friend Gina.
The other heartfelt moments mentioned in this blog are below 🙂
I’d love for you to follow the blog or to book your wedding with us, we promise to take great care of you <3
Until next time,
